Jeanette Lee is a Voting Staff Attorney at the Asian American Justice Center.
In this capacity, Jeanette works with a variety of organizations to block voter suppression efforts that seek to restrict voters’ access to the ballot. She also provides technical assistance to community organizations with regard to election procedures and how to prepare for Election Day.
Jeanette previously served as Staff Attorney in AAJC’s Affirmative Action program where she advocated on behalf of Asian American business owners to defend and promote minority contracting in public and private sectors locally and nationally. She also worked on AAJC’s 2010 Census campaign where she managed relationships with local community organizations, coordinated community trainings, and developed educational materials for community members.
Jeanette received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Maryland School of Law and is admitted to practice in Maryland.
