Keeping America true to its founding principles requires the protection of the basic human rights and liberties for all who live here. America relies on these rights and liberties to keep us free, and make us the country that we are. Failure to preserve these constitutional rights and freedoms leads to abuses that weaken our country.
As chair of the Rights Working Group, a national coalition of more than 250 community-based grassroots organizations and national advocacy groups, AAJC is dedicated to ensuring that U.S. policies in the post-9/11 era honor America’s fundamental values of liberty and justice for all.
