Wayne Winborne

Wayne Winborne is Vice-President, Business Diversity Outreach at Prudential Financial where he manages the Horizon program, an integration of corporate and business-specific resources to facilitate relational opportunities for Prudential’s Business Groups in targeted communities through sponsorship and related activities. Mr. Winborne has also served as Director, Strategic Data Analysis in the Equal Opportunity/Diversity organization of Prudential where he performed internal and external environmental assessments and identified issues and opportunities at the corporate and business group levels.
 
He is editor of a three-book series on intergroup relations in the U.S.: Research Perspectives; Programs & Organizations; and Seven Promising Practices.
 
He serves on the boards of several local and national non-profit organizations including the National Council for Research on Women, the Asian American Justice Center, the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, the Medgar Evers College Foundation, and the Consortium for Community Development.  He has also served on the advisory committee for the Americans for the Arts Animating Democracy Initiative, the Union Institute’s Changing Charities project, the All-America City Awards, and the Aspen Institute's Non-Profit Sector Research Fund. 
He holds degrees from Stanford and New York University.
